How did the world react to Superman revealing himself in Man of Steel? As you might expect, there are those who view him as a saviour, no great surprise considering that he has abilities unlike any normal human. Opening with a voiceover from various people (the majority of whom are unidentified), the trailer starts by playing on this religious aspect. Superman is shown seemingly being worshipped by people, but looks to be concerned by the attention. Could it be that they believe he's the second coming? That definitely appears to be the case, but what those voices are saying becomes steadily more negative, and it's clear that most are frightened or worried about the alien's immense level of power.
