While the voiceovers mentioned in previous slides are playing, the camera slowly pans into a statue which has been created in the Man of Steel's honour. This was spotted during filming and led many fans to assume that Superman might be killed in this movie and that it had been erected in order to pay tribute to him. They were only half right as it happens. It appears to have gone up to thank Superman for saving Metropolis and the world, and while the trailer makes it look like the public is worshipping Superman, the opposite is clearly the case. Chants of "Go Home!" can be heard, and the statue has been defaced with the words "False God". Luthor's plan to turn the world against the hero is clearly working.
