Batman V. Superman: Predicting The Entire Plot In 10 Steps

10. Years After Man Of Steel, Superman Is Perceived To Be An American Weapon; Clark Kent Investigates "The Batman"

The movie opens with Superman poised as something akin to "America's Hero" - perhaps via a nifty action sequence. In the wake of the events which occurred in Man of Steel, Superman has aligned himself with the United States and uses his influence as a deterrent to keep the rest of the world in line. This has caused mass global friction. As Clark Kent, Superman lives his regular life as an average reporter for the Daily Planet, and has moved in with Lois Lane. Over the course of the last few months, Clark has taken up something akin to a hobby: he's become notably obsessed with a mysterious character known as "The Batman," a costumed crusader who fights crime in nearby Gotham City. Lois Lane briefs Clark on the nature of Batman's history, including his achievements and some associated controversies. Tensions continue to build across the planet, as the US clings to Superman as a bonafide safety net.
