Batman V Superman Promo Art Reveals Caped Wonder Woman

Promotional art for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has surfaced, giving a closer look at what you can expect to see from the movie, including a first look at Wonder Woman's cape. The images, posted on Instagram by Umberto Gonzalez, show the Batwing from the trailer as well as some concept art, and two versions of the Batsuit - both the 'regular' and armoured one - giving a closer and slightly more detailed look than what's been seen so far. However, it is the image of Wonder Woman that is most interesting, and specifically the inclusion of her cape. In the only official image released so far the Amazon Princess, played by Gal Gadot, was very much capeless, so it isn't yet clear whether this addition will make it into the film. The rest of the costume in the promo art matches up with that released by Zack Snyder, so there's a good chance it will be seen on-screen. In the comics, Wonder Woman wears a cape when attending royal events on her home island, Themyscira, or important formal events in the United States. It's not known as of yet how big a role she'll have in Batman V Superman, but the cape is certainly a small - and rather cool looking - clue.
