10. Tao Okamoto - Mercy Graves

Upon learning that Mercy Graves, Lex Luthor's assistant and bodyguard, was going to appear in Batman v Superman, lots of comic book fans were presumably excited to see what the movie would do with her - especially since Zack Snyder decided to cast the talented Tao Okamoto (best known for her turn in The Wolverine) in the role. Sadly, Mercy is a mere drop in the ocean; a character who serves so little purpose in the relatively short time she's on screen that you hardly notice she's actually a pre-existing character from the comics, and then is, like, bumped off halfway through the movie. What was the point? Tao Okamoto had nothing to work with. She only ranks over Lex Luthor on this list because his performance is way more jarring. But is this even a performance? What did she get to do, except die? Way to waste a character, Zack.
