The fact that Wonder Woman is actually in Batman v Superman makes the setting up of her movie fairly obvious. When she first shows up in the 2016 offering, she will more than likely appear as her civilian alter-ego Diana Prince - having long mingled into American society - before donning her Amazon garb and joining in with the action. This will leave audiences wondering about her origins - how did she end up in America and how has she managed to blend in? - and that's the perfect way to set-up her solo movie in 2017, which will indeed be an origin movie. Once she's introduced in Batman v Superman, her origins may be touched upon when she explains who she is and what she's doing in America, but that will merely be a tease for the full depiction of said origins in her own movie (she will more than likely have come to America with Steve Trevor decades ago, after he inadvertently ended up on her home island of Themyscira).
