There's the sense in South African actor Sharlto Copley that he's up for absolutely anything, as witnessed by his downright deranged and insanely unpredictable performance as Agent Kruger in last year's sci-fi flick Elysium. Though the film itself had its problems, Copley was perhaps the best thing about it - every second he was on screen, he had absolutely no qualms about hamming it up to the kinds of levels that Gary Oldman did all throughout the '90s. Let this guy into Jokertown, and we're talking fireworks of the highest order. Copley is another actor with a certain look in his eyes - one that reads "I might just go crazy right now" - which is presumably the reason why he was cast as Howling Mad Murdock in the recent film adaptation of The A-Team. Another film with problems, sure, but there was no denying the intense and random nature of Copley's performance. So if we want a hammy Joker, order this guy.
