1. Darkseid Is The Villain (And Possibly Played By The Rock)
The plot of the Justice League will likely mirror, to a degree, that of the animated film so we can expect the plot to revolve around an invasion of Earth by Darkseid (think Superman on steroids). This plot is suitably large enough to pose a real threat to the Earth thus ensuring there is a legitimate reason for Earth's heroes to work together and form the Justice League, as opposed to say, all working together to battle corporate fraud... As for casting, this is yet to be confirmed, but if you think 'Superman on steroids' you come up with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. What is known is that Johnson has signed up to play an as yet unconfirmed role within the DC cinematic universe. With either his age or size making him an impractical choice for either Cyborg (too old) or John Stewart (too big) don't bet against The Rock being the main antagonist of the Justice League and kicking their butts.
