Another enigmatic supporting actor whose comparatively unrecognizable face would disappear behind the Riddler's mask to accentuate character; if the dice rolled in Scoot McNairy's favour, he'd add a certain kind of manic entertainment to the role that would make him completely own it. McNairy has been cropping up in huge movies like Best Picture winners Argo and 12 Years A Slave and blending in perfectly; another quality that would suit the role of the mysterious puzzler. McNairy deserves to wear the green and get drunk on brain-teasers primarily because of his delectably scene-chewing role in Killing Them Softly. Alongside Brad Pitt and Ben Mendelson, McNairy plays an untrustworthy junkie who seems ready to snap at any second. Delirious in his paranoia, hilarious in his delivery and ostentatious with his eye movement; McNairy as Nygma is beginning is sounding more and more appropriate.
