Batman Vs Superman: 9 Things You Need To Know About Jena Malone's Robin

9. They're STILL Silent About Her Involvement

As mentioned before, the rumours began circulating in October about Malone possibly playing the role of Carrie Kelly, and now, nearly seven months later she is still listed on the film's IMDB pages as having "rumoured" involvement. There have been no official announcements about whether or not she is in any way involved in the movie. What's more telling is that Malone herself refuses to comment on the situation. She remains tight-lipped in interviews and even when an E-online reporter confronted her about it at a book launch party. They wrote:
"So, are you the new Robin?" I asked.Malone didn't even blink. She gave me a little wave and slid off to the bar.
While it makes sense for Warner Bros. to let the rumours thrash about - the more people talking about the movie, the better - Malone's silence is much more incriminating. If she had no connection to the movie, she would be under no legal obligation to the studio and could deny the claims as much as she liked. If she wasn't involved in the film, surely this would be something she'd want to do, so as not to have other studios think she's bound to a huge multi-picture deal with Warner Bros. But, the impression is: she can't talk about it, which suggests that she's signed non-disclosure agreements, so the strong likelihood is that she's working on the film. If this is the case, and the studios STILL refuse to even name her character, then that's all the more reason to believe she's playing someone easily recognisable to fans of the Batman canon.
