Batman vs Superman Movie: 10 Cameos We Hope To See
8. Jor-El
Russell Crowe gave one of the best performances in Man of Steel as Superman's father Jor-El, and though he's killed by Zod at the beginning of the movie, he re-appears later when Clark uses the Kryptonian control key, which stores his consciousness as a hologram. He not only gives Clark the low-down on the nature of his being, but later helps him and Lois escape from Zod's ship. When asked about appearing in Batman vs. Superman just two weeks ago, Crowe said, "I don't think they're going to use me again...I think they're jumping onto a different stream. You know, with different superhero worlds colliding", though given the potential for a juicy cameo, let's hope he's wrong or intentionally keeping it on the down-low. The Cameo: Though Man of Steel did the job in terms of having Clark learn more about himself and his race from his father, it would make sense that he might return to him for more advice during a time of crisis. It might seem like overkill to some, but given how great Crowe was in the role in the previous movie, few would probably object to another dramatic father-son dialogue to cool audiences down after a sizzling stand-off between Supes and The Caped Crusader.
