Nearly everyone in the world has had something to say about Ben Affleck taking on the coveted role of Bruce Wayne for the upcoming Batman Vs Superman: just have a quick Google. It's been very rare though that anyone's had anything nice to say; Christian Bale did such a fantastically immersive job with this icon: what on Earth is the Daredevil himself going to do with it? After the huge backlash however, the naysayers may have their wish granted. Affleck is threatening to walk away from the project, apparently due to his concerns over David S. Goyer's screenplay, but reports suggest that the delays rumoured to push the movie back a year - also threatening Affleck's involvement with his Live By Night adaptation - are also a big concern to the star. So what if Ben Affleck pulls out? Warner Bros. would be back to square one in casting Batman. It should be mentioned that this rumour is extremely dubious; no one even close to the movie has so much as mentioned it, and let's face it, it's probably snowballed due to Affleck's almost unanimous unpopularity.
