Batman Vs. Superman Movie: 10 Villains That Would Pay Subtle Tribute To Nolan's Trilogy

10. Alberto Falcone

Alberto Falcone should give you an idea of the kind of villains I'll be looking at for this list; never mentioned too much in the comics and just not juicy enough to feature as a main villain in a DC Comics movie. But if we're talking subtle references or cameos, this guy could be perfect. If you're an avid Batman comic book reader, you must have by now come across Batman: The Long Halloween (and if you haven't, get on that) where Alberto Falcone made his biggest mark and officially became indicted into Batman's rogue gallery. The connection to the TDK trilogy can be spotted in the name. Batman Begins had Ra's Al Ghul and Scarecrow as the primary baddies but the mob was ruled by Tom Wilkinson's Carmine Falcone. Alberto is Carmine's son who has a killer alter-ego especially around the holiday season, so if the mobster trend continues in Snyder's version of Gotham then a mention or even an appearance by Alberto in Snyder's movie would be a nice a little nod to the previous Batman films.
