Batman Vs. Superman Movie: 10 Villains That Would Pay Subtle Tribute To Nolan's Trilogy

9. The Ventriloquist

Or what about this lunatic? Arnold Wesker a.k.a. The Ventriloquist is just about as cartoonish as the Batman mythos gets, but with the right kind of edginess he could make for one spooky dude. In order to vent off his rage after his mother got assassinated by thugs, Wesker developed a psychotic relationship with his puppet called Scarface. As The Ventriloquist, he uses Scarface to commit his murders and crimes. Surprise, surprise, he ends up in Arkham Asylum. The connection with Nolan's movies can be twofold here. Wesker's crime connections can easily be linked with either Falcone from Begins or the Moroni family who took over in The Dark Knight. But, even more enticingly, he is one of the Arkham prisoners released by Bane in the Knightfall saga (which was a rough springboard for The Dark Knight Rises). The connections are there and puppets are super creepy. A little shoutout in the new Batman vs. Superman movie could be pretty awesome, no?
