Batman Vs. Superman Movie: 10 Villains That Would Pay Subtle Tribute To Nolan's Trilogy

5. Red Hood

The final five kicks off with Red Hood, whom you'll recall from the awesome 2010 animated feature Batman: Under the Red Hood. As many Batman villians, Red Hood went through a few reincarnations, the very first Red Hood being an alias for The Joker all the way back in the golden age of the 50s. But I'm talking about the Jason Todd version who rose out of the ashes from a dead Robin (killed in the comics by The Joker in Batman: A Death in the Family) and resurrected into the most popular Red Hood Batman faced against. With his own distorted sense of justice, Red Hood is a badass anti-hero who has a pretty complex relationship with Batman and more than deserves to have a shoutout in a feature. As far as connections go, The Joker is the obvious one, though if Snyder and his writing team were feeling extra understated they could link him with the underworld of gangsters that Nolan used in his first two instalments. Taking elements from the Hush and Battle for the Cowl comicbook storylines, there's more than enough material to have this villain pay some homage and handle his own kind of justice in Snyder's Gotham.
