6. Josh Brolin
Age: 46 If the goal of the script is to suggest a Bruce Wayne thats a little older, a little more seasoned and a bit gruffer, who can also best Supes in the experience department, then Brolin might be just the ticket. The actor has worked with Warner Bros plenty, having been in Gangster Squad, Jonah Hex and is headlining the next chapter in Frank Millers Sin City saga, A Dame to Kill For. Brolin is a solid and formidable actor, who can do great pantomime and low-key comedy (see Men in Black III) and, at the same time, also create gritty but charismatic characters like the ones seen in No Country for Old Men. If you want a comparable transition from Bales somber Bats, then Brolin is a reasonable choice.
