2. Batman Rescues Martha Kent (Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice)
Yes, BVS was a failure considering the potential of the premise but there is one scene that very nearly takes the prize for best Batman scene ever and it is this one.
After deciding not to kill Superman (much has been said already so we’ll just leave it at that), Batman promises to rescue his mother from a warehouse full of Lex Luthor’s henchmen. What follows is the single best fight scene in Batman movie history.
Whereas most of the fighting in Nolan’s trilogy was passable at best, Snyder gives us a scene which hammers home how devastatingly brutal Batman can be, as he effortlessly takes down multiple enemies in a flowing, beautifully choreographed fight that needs to be seen to be believed.
The biggest problem with this fight, and I would argue a big problem with BVS in general, was that most of it was spoiled by a trailer that pretty much showed everything. But that should not take anything away from how awesome this brawl is.
