Beauty And The Beast: 7 Reasons It Will Make Disney A Billion

3. The Fidelity

Though The Jungle Book did extremely well to readapt the source material to make some fairly big changes from its animated sibling, Beauty And The Beast should seek fidelity as a priority. The animation captured the story brilliantly, populating a rich environment with great characters and capturing both an authentically French spirit and grandeur in the castle.

To not use that beautiful artwork as a basis would have been a mistake, but the teaser does seem to suggest that we're going to get a live action remake that actually lives up to the billing. By the look of it, we're going to get shot for shot remakes, and an attention to the details of the animated film that makes it irresistible to anyone who has seen the original...

Hopefully, that also means they're going to retain more of the songs than The Jungle Book did. A version of the film that doesn't have "Beauty And The Beast", "Be Our Guest" and "Gaston" in it would be illogical.
