Beauty And The Beast: 7 Reasons It Will Make Disney A Billion

Arguably the single biggest selling point to Beauty And The Beast fans is the presence of Harry Potter alumnus Emma Watson, whose brand power in this sort of movie is a hell of a pulling factor for Disney.

So far in her post-Potter career, Watson has made a conscious effort to resist being typecast, so her Potter fan-base (which Tumblr easily proves is alive, kicking and incredibly obsessed) have had nothing to get behind en masse. That has now changed: her taking on a role like Belle is the logical next step to her playing an expanded supporting role in Potter, and the fans will rally.

Most importantly, she's also a great actor, which is exactly what Belle needs. She can't be a wall flower, she can't be too much a damsel and she has to have moxie: all things Watson has shown in abundance before. If she doesn't soar in this movie, there will be something badly wrong.
