Beauty And The Beast Remake: 8 Deleted Scenes You Need To See

4. Lumière Torches LeFou

As the fight rages on inside the castle, Plumette strikes LeFou in the face with her feathers, but in a section that was cut immediately after this scene, the scuffle between the two characters continues.

In a typically bumbling fashion, LeFou chases Plumette up the castle’s main staircase, where he catches her in his net, but only for a brief moment as Lumière quickly comes to her rescue.

The candelabra Casanova approaches LeFou from behind before announcing his extremely heated interruption by using his candles to ignite the coattails of Gaston’s right-hand man.

In the animated classic, Lumière performs a similar act of heroism when he spots one of the other villagers mistreating the enchanted feather duster at some stage in the ferocious battle.

During this throwback scene, the menacing mobster plucks out Plumette’s feathers whilst laughing evilly – but ultimately, it’s Lumière who has the last laugh, as he sets the villainous villager aflame once again.

That’s Lumière for you, always bringing the heat.
