Before The Dark Knight Rises: 5 Movies Batman Cast Wish They Could Forget

5. Satisfaction (1988)

Believed to be reprising his role as Ra€™s Al Ghul in at least a flashback in The Dark Knight Rises is Liam Neeson. Another Oscar calibre actor, known for such roles as Oskar Schindler---which earned him a Best Actor Oscar nomination---Alfred Kinsey and Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn. Believe it or not, however, the Star Wars Prequel is not the stain on his filmography that we€™re writing about. Deeper in Neeson€™s past he appeared with Julia Roberts and Justine Bateman in the 1988 offering, Satisfaction. The film tells the story of a (mostly) girl band trying to make it in the rock scene of Florida. Neeson is the love interest for Bateman who is just out of high school. The pair have little chemistry and the age difference is less endearing and more creepy---even if it hadn€™t been, a May-September Romance was never going to be enough to make this film more palatable. Fortunately for Neeson, the film was quickly forgotten---and as penance for this film flop Justine Bateman was banished back to television while Juila Roberts and Liam Neeson rode off into the glitz and glamor of Hollywood stardom. As we come out of the shadows of these films we wish we€™d never seen and these actors wish they€™d never made (we hope) we€™re firm in the resolve that they will give their best in The Dark Knight Rises leaving these sub-par offerings even further behind. Have you seen any of these films? Are you the one that liked them? Would you rather offer support for The Dark Knight Rises and leave these behind with the rest of us?
