3. Theres Something About Mary
Arguably, this is the role that catapulted Stiller to mainstream prominence proper, Theres Something About Mary still remains one of his defining performances. No one does gross-out comedy like the Farelly Brothers, and its again Stillers sheer aptitude for farce that makes this movie so crowd-pleasingly hilarious. The moments that he manages to sell with hilarious believability are too many to list; to name a few jerking it in the bathroom, but losing the jizz; getting interrogated for the murders he didnt commit; and if you can forget the awful sight of his twisted junk poking garishly through his closed zipper, youre made of stronger stuff than I. Stiller is arguably at his funniest in Theres Something About Mary, and for that, his performance earns a place this side of the list.
