5. Night at the Museum: Battle for the Smithsonian
For a Night at the Museum sequel to have worked at all would have required the first instalment to have been worth watching. As it stood, it was okay, but strictly for the younglings. Nothing to write home about. Thats why many of us were scratching our heads when we saw the promo for Battle for the Smithsonian. Yet they made it, and unfortunately, it was as bad, if not worse than the first one. At the centre is Stillers performance, which in both movies, is decidedly on auto-pilot. Theres nothing there from his turn in the Royal Tenenbaums of Flirting with Disaster, just wave after wave of Stillerisms, all packaged up in a tacky CGI bundle.
