Why Benedict, WHY?!

In a film populated by numb-headed cameos designed to distract from the fact that the film is utterly terrible, Cumberbatch's cameo as All - a deeply offensive androgynous uber-model is one of the cherries on top of the sundae. It's pointless - a cheap shot - and not even remotely funny or particularly insightful. It's not like there are a load of weird alien-like models defining the modern industry.

The performance itself suits the material, but that doesn't make it any more forgivable. Which it might have been had the comedy worked or been particularly clever. It didn't and it wasn't.
