With more than a billion dollars at the box office and near-universal critical acclaim, Incredibles 2 is pretty much a shoo-in for a Best Popular Film nomination.

In addition to being a hugely anticipated sequel that actually lived up to the hype, it's brought to us from the most prestigious and awards-friendly animation studio operating today, Pixar.

Chances Of Winning: If the award went to the most broadly crowd-pleasing film of the year, Incredibles 2 just might win it, but because it falls a touch short of the original's brilliance and has pretty much fallen out of the cultural conversation already, it doesn't feel like it'll have a ton of staying power by early next year.
