3. Kelsey Grammer's Death - Turbulence

Turbulence Kelsey Grammer
Lionsgate

Turbulence is a friggin' awful thriller that absolutely squanders the gloriously loony premise of a couple (Jeremy Irvine and Hera Hilmar) being terrorised during their hot air balloon ride by an unexpected extra passenger, Julia (Olga Kurylenko).

The dialogue, performances, and especially the VFX are absolutely laughable throughout, but there is one brief moment sure to get a smile out of you in the right way.

The aforementioned hot air balloon is being piloted by a guy called Harry (Kelsey Grammer), who is unfortunate enough to end up trapped in the middle of this fraught situation.

When Julia violently attacks the couple, the rope controlling the balloon ends up getting burned, forcing Harry to climb on the basket in order to reach the rest of it.

However, during the commotion Harry gets knocked off the edge of the basket, where he free-falls a few thousand feet before splatting on the rocks below.

Frasier of all people get splashed over the ground like an industrial vat of pasta sauce is a death scene that deserved a much, much better movie than this.
