Bill Nighy: 5 Awesome Performances And 5 That Sucked

5 Awesome Performances...

5. Slartibartfast - The Hitchhiker€™s Guide To The Galaxy (2005)

All the dry-as-bark humour of Bill Nighy couldn€™t be more well-placed with the character of Planet Designer Slartibartfast, from Douglas Adams€™ Hitchhiker€™s Guide to the Galaxy. It€™s a fantastic rendition of a well-loved literary character, as so-so as the 2005 adaptation is. Well worth the price of admission alone is the tour around Earth Mk. II that Slartibartfast gives to Arthur Dent - it rather plays like an advert for Nighy€™s impeccable comic timing and delivery.
