Bill & Ted Face The Music Review: 6 Ups & 4 Downs

2. The Hilarious Supporting Cast

Face the Music benefits from not only the performances of Bill, Ted, their kids, and also Death and Dennis, but a stacked supporting cast.

Most prominently, Kristen Schaal is goofy fun as Rufus' daughter Kelly, effectively filling the void left by the late, great George Carlin, while Jillian Bell is hilarious in a brief role as Bill and Ted's exasperated couples therapist.

Elsewhere, Jayma Mays and Erinn Hayes do good work as Bill and Ted's medieval princess wives Joanna and Elizabeth, and fans will certainly relish some brief-but-cute appearances from Hal Landon Jr. as Ted's father Jonathan, and Amy Stoch as Bill and Ted's former stepmother Missy.

There's also a surprise cameo from a certain legendary musician that's just too damn good to spoil, but needless to say, it's a kicker.
