2020 has been a tough year for everyone, and so there's certainly something to be said for a film which offers up a sweet, hopeful look towards the future, reuniting audiences with two beloved characters in a heartfelt and dignified way.

If this truly is our final go-around with Bill and Ted - which, in all honesty it surely is - it's one that's quietly affecting yet crucially doesn't lay the sentiment on too thickly.

If the prospect of Christopher Nolan's cold, heady Tenet seems a little too bleak and uninviting for you right now, Bill & Ted Face the Music offers up a purely fun escapist ride.
