2. Black Mask?

Is Ewan McGregor too famous to play Black Mask?

Just as Suicide Squad refused to put Will Smith under a mask because he's got the kind of recognisable face and star profile that you just don't obscure with a mask no matter what the source material says about the character, it appears Black Mask's single most defining feature isn't in Birds Of Prey.

Hopefully we'll get to see more of Black Mask's iconmic look from the comics than on Harley's backing dancers in her fantasy musical number, because if you're going to just put Ewan McGregor in as the villain, why not just put him in rather than appropriating a comic book character and compromising on what fans would want to see of him?

You either want Black Mask in your movie or you don't and the rumours are that McGregor won't wear a mask at all. Let's hope they're wrong.
