3. It's All A Bit "Style And Little Substance"

There's always a balance in keeping spoilers locked down and giving your audience a real insight into the movie and this teaser just misses the sweet spot.

If you went into the trailer not really knowing much about the movie (which, let's be honest, a lot of people would have, beyond it being "that other Harley Quinn movie"), you won't have come out of the other side knowing much more. There's not enough character focus, there's not enough story to make it look like anything but a vehicle for Harley and it's imbalanced towards style over real substance.

At the end of the day, it's down to the footage choices and how it's cut together. It's not to say that the film will lack substance - because what we know of the story absolutely contradicts that - but it's just not the most inspiring trailer. Try and pick out a memorable message and you'll struggle.
