2. When Will Black Adam Meet Shazam?
This is the big question right now, and originally, the plan was for Black Adam and Shazam! 2 to shoot at the same time. That's understandably all up in the air given current circumstances, but there have been denials for a while that these two characters won't cross paths as soon as these two movies.
Instead, it seems the groundwork is being laid for a much bigger crossover, and as we mentioned earlier in this breakdown, chances are that will involve Superman. Producer Hiram Garcia wouldn't be drawn into confirming anything while speaking to Collider, but did say that, "on our end we’re very focused on building out this world we’re creating with Black Adam and the JSA."
"Obviously Shazam exists in that universe," he confirmed, "along with many, many other heroes and believe me when I say we have very big ambitions for all these characters and the story lines we want to take them through." Reading between the lines, there are clearly big plans for the Justice Society.
Whether Black Adam is on their side or they're tasked with taking him down remains to be seen.
