9. How Is Wakanda A Sustainable Country?
The Question: With Wakanda appearing to be an impoverished third-world country to the outside world, how is it able to thrive without obtaining significant resources from other countries?
Presumably they aren't building everything out of Vibranium, even with their vast stockpile of it. Plus, with them turning down international aid and having little or nothing they can trade with other nations, how can they acquire anything that isn't naturally occurring in Wakanda?
The Likely Answer: This one isn't easily explained and is really a "because movie" consideration above all else, but continuity-wise, perhaps Wakanda trades through back-channels and heavily compensates traders to ensure their silence, or devotes a huge portion of their spy network to acquiring resources worldwide.
Or hell, maybe Vibranium really is that plentiful that they can use it to build huge skyscrapers. After all, Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis) did say that they've barely scratched the surface after thousands of years...
