Black Panther: 30 Easter Eggs & References You Probably Missed
16. Killmonger's Mask
When Killmonger breaks into the British Museum along with Ulysses Klaue, he identifies a misidentified Vibranium artifact and steals it for Klaue to sell to his American buyer while asking the needlessly grumpy curator (who ends up representing the film's idea of colonial conquerors) about some of the masks.
After dealing with the security and the curator (who ends up poisoned), Killmonger then steals a mask that he later wears to break Klaue out of CIA custody. When asked by Klaue whether he wants it because it's also Vibranium he says that he's "feelin' it."
There's a good reason he feels it: the mask is clearly based on a mask he wore for an early battle with Black Panther in the comics.
