9. Warrior Falls

As part of the official challenge ceremony, T'Challa must entertain all challenges to his claim to the throne without the assistance of his Black Panther powers.

In the opening act, we see him fight M'Baku and then later Killmonger challenges him and they fight. In both cases, the combat takes place at the important location of Warrior Falls, which is actually where Killmonger and T'Challa had their first encounter n Don McGregor's iconic "Panther's Rage" story arc of the '70s.

Crucially, in that story, Killmonger throws T'Challa over the Falls, in the same way as he does in the movie.
