Black Panther: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

Angela Bassett's performance is absolutely fine, but she has very little to actually do in the film other than beam with pride at T'Challa becoming the man she suspects he is or look on horrified as he almost doesn't.

She's the right amount of regal, her accent fits the other good Wakandan accents (the only thing we needed there was consistency across all the characters and most manage it), and her costumes are incredible. But again, if you remove her from the film, it loses very little, which is never that much of a good sign for any character.
