Black Panther: Every Character Revealed So Far

Despite how awful Marvel Studios appear to be at making comic book movie posters, they still know how to make incredible trailers. Hot on the heels of the exceptional Thor: Ragnarok first teaser, the studio somewhat unexpectedly dropped the first Black Panther trailer ahead of its release in February 2018. And it's a bloody good one.

The trailer sets out the tone of the movie, as well as hinting at a personal story with huge political stakes and a number of huge villainous threats, and it looks as though Marvel are really giving Ryan Coogler the space to make his own movie.

What was very clear from the trailer is that there a significant number of moving parts here - and considerably more than we might be used to in terms of "main" characters in comparison to other stand-alone character debuts. Given the complexities of T'Challa's story and the threats he faces, this should not come as a great surprise.

But it does make keeping track of every character in the trailer a slightly more arduous task. Luckily though, we already know some prime details about the roster.
