What We Know So Far

According to the official synopsis, T'Challa "springs into action when an old enemy threatens the fate of his nation and the world." From what we know of the general plot outline, that seems to point to Erik Killmonger, his rival to the Wakandan throne, but it's really only half of the story.

Black Panther will be a story of a fledgling king facing insurrection from within his own borders and challenges to his leadership from outside. He won't just have to fend off Killmonger, but also M'Baku - otherwise known as Man Ape - and deal with the threat of Ulysses Klaue revealing his country's secrets.

And then, of course, there's the small matter of Bucky being hidden away in Wakanda, and the implied threat that will come from his enemies searching for him. In other words, T'Challa is going to have a LOT on his hands.
