5. N'Jadaka's Father?

What We Know So Far

Quite who Isaach De Bankole is playing in Black Panther remains to be confirmed, but it looks like he's set to play part of the Wakandan council, since he's present in the Wakandan ruling chambers and watches on as T'Challa and Erik Killmonger battle for power...

More interestingly is the theory that he is playing Killmonger's father, who was exiled in the comics for working with Ulysses Klaue and who could be reborn here as an in-council supporter for Killmonger (N'Jadaka) and his claim to the throne.

That would offer Killmonger a reason to "impress" by defeating T'Challa, certainly. We also know that the film has cast young T'Chaka, suggesting that we will see some of his early reign in Wakanda, and having Killmonger's father involved there too would make sense, even if his betrayal of his king isn't completely revealed.

The only concrete info we have comes courtesy of Ryan Coogler who says he is "the elder of one of the largest tribes in Wakanda."
