3. Shuri Is A Tech Genius (And A Bad-Ass)

In The Trailer

Shuri - sister to T'Challa and another Black Panther from the comics in his wake - is seen wielding two Panther-headed gauntlet weapons, suggesting she's something of a hero in her own right.

What It Means

Thanks to some additional promotional material, we know that Shuri is being presented as a sort of Wakandan Tony Stark - a genius inventor who seeks to find the full applications of Vibranium.

It seems sensible to assume that she will be responsible for Black Panther's improved suit (since it's different to the Civil War costume), as well as some of the big Wakandan technological advances. In other words, maybe we should start considering her as a sort of Wakandan Q who throws down along with the Dora Milaje and doesn't stick to her lab.
