Black Panther: Wakanda Forever: 23 WTF Moments
10. Killmonger's Cameo
It was widely rumoured prior to Wakanda Forever's release that Erik Killmonger would make some sort of cameo in the film, and indeed, he shows up deep into the third act.
After Shuri finally manages to successfully synthesise a heart-shaped herb, she ingests it and ends up on the Ancestral Plane, where she expects to encounter either Ramonda or T'Challa.
But as it turns out, she crosses paths with Killmonger, who is sat on a throne inside a room bearing a resemblance to the garden where the heart-shaped herbs were originally grown.
Killmonger basically acts as a devil's advocate for Shuri, calling her father a hypocrite because he likely would've handed Riri over to Namor, while saying T'Challa was "too noble" because he allowed Bucky, the man who murdered his father, to live.
Killmonger then asks Shuri, "Are you gonna be noble, or take care of business?" This provocation initially seems to fuel Shuri's quest for revenge, though as we see later, she thankfully ends up going in a more productive direction.
