Black Panther: Wakanda Forever: 23 WTF Moments

8. Namor Gets Dried Out

Though the film certainly does a remarkable job of establishing Namor as a tenacious, terrifying threat to Wakanda, it does have to be said that Shuri's method for lessening his abilities is a little on the silly side.

Given that Namor absorbs oxygen through his skin in a process called diffusion, Shuri and Riri deduce that the best way to dampen his powers is to trap him in a room and dry him out.

And so, that's precisely what they do, with Shuri capturing Namor onboard an aircraft while super-heating the room to dry up his moisture, in turn causing him to stumble and feel weak.

Hilariously, Shuri then asks him, "What's wrong, need a glass of water?" The trick doesn't contain Namor for long, who quickly breaks out of the ship, but at least weakens him enough that Shuri can take him on once they reach the ground.
