Black Panther: Wakanda Forever: 23 WTF Moments

20. Everett Ross Listens To Red Hot Chili Peppers (Because Of Course He Does)

CIA agent Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) plays a supporting role in the film, continuing to covertly aid Wakanda even while CIA higher-ups continue to breathe down his neck.

But he's first integrated into the story when we see him going for a jog in Virginia, and being the most basic white guy character in the movie, he's of course got the most basic white guy tastes.

That is to say, he's listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and of course he's not listening to one of their newer albums but their 2003 hit tune "Don't Stop."

This isn't to shade the Chilis at all, but simply that it's hilarious that Ryan Coogler decided to give perhaps the most uninteresting, tacked-on character in the movie the most dead-ordinary, unremarkable musical tastes.
