Some extra sass is thrown the way of Apple of all companies, when Shuri and Okoye (Danai Gurira) head to Boston to track down the MIT scientist who created the vibranium-detecting tech, who of course turns out to be Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne).

As Shuri and Okoye spy on Riri while she carries out a deal with a fellow student to change his grades, Shuri points out that Riri is using an iPhone, which Okoye hilariously calls "primitive."

Given the immense popularity of iPhones in the real world, it's a cute little reminder that Wakandan tech is so far advanced that even the newest iPhone evidently seems like an archaic piece of junk.

Considering how protective Apple is over their phones being used in films - to the extent they won't even let villainous characters use them on-screen - one can't imagine they're too thrilled to hear this amusingly disparaging remark in one of the year's biggest movies.
