Black Widow: 21 WTF Moments

Alexei Shostakov aka Red Guardian (David Harbour) is introduced in the movie's prologue sequence, though isn't reintroduced into the contemporary narrative until much later.

Alexei is now in prison, where he's a tattooed mountain of a man who seemingly arm-wrestles his fellow inmates for kicks. And because that's not badass enough, he's also seen getting a back tattoo while arm wrestling.

Granted, Alexei's a super-soldier - the Russian answer to Captain America, essentially - so it's not terribly surprising he can juggle two physically demanding acts, but even so, it's a badass, offbeat introduction to one of the movie's best characters.
