Black Widow: Everything You Need To Know About Taskmaster

5. He's ALWAYS Armed

Black Widow Taskmaster
Marvel Comics

Taskmaster is an expert with every weapon known to man. As a result, superheroes try to disarm him as soon as possible. After all, he can't throw a shield like Captain America if you get rid of his shield, right?

But disarming Taskmaster is not easy. And when I say "not easy," I mean it's borderline impossible. He always carries an assortment of weapons including as a quiver full of bows, a Billy club, shurikens, knives, a sword, a katana, pistols, and machine guns. He has energy claws to mimic Wolverine's blades and energy webbing to mimic Spider-Man's webs. He also has sticking agent in his boots and gloves, which allows him to cling to walls.

He has a shield, which he wields in the same manner as Captain America. Unlike Cap, Taskmaster's shield is not made from vibranium. Now, vibranium is indestructible and can absorb any vibration. How can Taskmaster's shield compete with that?

Because Taskmaster's shield is made of energy. By using a device in his wrist, Taskmaster can make it so no one can pick up the shield except him. If anyone else tries to, their hand will pass through it. As a result, his opponents can't use his own weapons against him.
