Black Widow Final Trailer Review: 6 Ups & 1 Down

Ups...

6. The Music

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how Marvel absolutely nailed the music in this piece.

In the past, we've seen studios completely obliterate any hopes of strong promotion by saddling trailers that are otherwise entertaining with music that just doesn't go with the footage being shown. And it isn't just Marvel because properties like Assassin's Creed, The Predator and, heck, even The CW's Batwoman series have all been guilty of this in recent years, employing songs that have no business being anywhere near these spectacles instead of just relying on the damn score.

Thankfully, that's not a problem for Black Widow because, after acing it with ominous and thematically-accurate music in the first trailer, the final trailer has gone all out with one of the most powerful themes you'll hear all year.

Triumphant, victorious, invasive and threatening all at the same time, this music complements every single moment of footage and nails the tone that so many of us are expecting the film to possess.

It's also rather goosebump-inducing, so that helps sell the message of the film too...
