Black Widow Final Trailer Review: 6 Ups & 1 Down

5. It Still Effortlessly Mixes Comedy With The Drama

From watching previous Black Widow trailers, it's clear that there are going to be two overarching tones, with the majority of scenes depicting the unnervingly dramatic one you'd expect in a spy thriller like this, while others pull a complete 180 and infuse it with that typical Marvel humour.

Those opposing tones worked really well in that first trailer, but it'd be understandable if you were a little concerned about how Marvel's most unique MCU film yet could end up missing the mark with too much humour. Those are concerns, however, that should be significantly less prominent after viewing this final one.

Yet again, this promo clip has seamlessly combined both genres in a way that feels completely authentic, relying on the drama (and... y'know... the action) to push this two-minute mini-story forward before building to genuinely funny (albeit subtle) punchlines.

Should Black Widow follow in the footsteps of its promotional material and never venture too far into either territory, it should make for a very enjoyable watch.
