Bohemian Rhapsody Review: 5 Ups & 5 Downs

4. It's An Enjoyable Celebration Of Queen's Music

Bohemian Rhapsody Rami Malek

Above all else, you will likely come out of this movie with a smile on your face and tapping your feet to Queen's music.

Presumably at the behest of the band themselves, the bulk of the focus here is on the influential nature of their music, how they've captured the hearts and minds of generations and how they pretty much define the word "iconic."

If you're a Queen fan, which you probably are if you're planning on seeing this movie, it succeeds as a doting tribute to their artistry even if it sometimes feels a little too close to an estate-approved hagiography (because that's basically exactly what it is).
