Bond 24: 10 Actors Who Would Make Awesome Villains
2. Mark Strong
Who He Would Play: Does it really matter? The velvety-voiced actor practically has a pHD in playing movie villains, to the point that it's difficult to buy him playing anything approach a hero these days. Mark Strong's public profile has grown significantly in the last 5 years, and as a respected, well-liked character actor, he would fit the role of a Bond villain extremely well, while not possibly upstaging Bond himself. He could either be a London mob-type guy, or as he proved in Zero Dark Thirty, he can also play the bureaucratic hard-ass superbly for a more typical business tycoon-type character. Likelihood Of It Happening:5/10. EON might find his casting a little too pat and obvious because of his history playing bad guys, but he's definitely one worth keeping in mind.
